As a tribute to the election in PA today, I would like to quote a line from a very enjoyable song. If you don't know Derek Webb, you really should. He is cynical and says things that most Christians would most likely find offensive about faith and how it is lived out. Ironic, that he is a Christian arstist but you would never hear the majority of his music on Christian Radio. I like him. Then again I am cynical and not always popular among some Christians. I have many things I would like to say about this topic, but I am to tired and have to much to do, maybe I will come back to this. So here's my thought for the day from Derek Webb...
there are two great lies that i’ve heard:
“the day you eat of the fruit of that tree,
you will not surely die”
and that Jesus Christ was a white, middle-class republican
and if you wanna be saved you have to learn to be like Him
